ThingOut

ThingOut is about Seattle’s amazing DIY community. What are you working on in your garage or basement? What half-finished project do you want to show off to other people? It’s time to dust it off, bring it out into the light of day and show it off to your fellow makers. If you have something you want to bring and show off, then use the form below to tell us what you are bringing. You can see some of the cool projects people brought last year in the Geekwire article.

In addition, this year we will be having an electronics swap meet. Have some equipment that you don’t know what to do with? Looking for a new project to start? Something to take apart? Maybe an old Tivo that you’re no longer using. Bring it! You don’t have to worry about signing up on the project submission page. Just bring your items and we will find a spot for you. Table space is limited, so we are asking folks to pay $5 on the day of the event to ensure a spot.

ThingOut is happening in conjunction with the outdoor Ignite Seattle on August 19th. Doors will open for the DIY festival around 3:30, then the Ignite talks will begin at approximately 7:30pm. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
