[...] The contest was fun and even the slideshow presentations were entertaining. Yes, I wrote slideshow presentations and entertaining in the same sentence! (Here’s a recap of a few). They were all tech-centric, but more importantly, each presenter was limited to 5 minutes each, much like the slideluck potshows. I saw Buster’s presentation but had to skip out on the last half due to a hunger strike by my friends…okay, and me too. Turns out I missed the Darfur Wall show, which is a bummer…found that earlier this week and already contributed to it (as should everyone) but it would have been cool to learn more about it. Last night was a blast. I’m still amazed that the 998s held over 800lbs on their last test…
The bridge building was great fun, but the talks and those who showed are what sealed it as a definite must-go from now on.

All the presentations were surprisingly well put together. Great depth, especially with five minutes each. Highly recommend everyone who is able attend the event in February!

For those of you in the Seattle area, I’d highly recommend attending Ignite Seattle next time they do it. The format is:
- Every presenter gets to show 20 slides
